  ONE GOD

 

Hi Everyone:

 

1^st Corinthians 8:6 "yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live."

 

As Paul says, 'not everyone knows this.' This chapter discusses food that is sacrificed to idols, however I believe the point he is making can be applied to other facets of life, which is, we should not engage in things that are questionable and might cause weaker brothers to stumble.

 

The Trinity is a mystery and only those who know the one true God accept and understand it. The question here is how to know God, therefore be able to love Him like He loves us. All we need do is hear the words of our Savior, Jesus Christ who in John 14:6 says, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

 

That's all there is my friends, one God, one Savior. How do I know? The Bible tells me so; in faith I accept it.
