THE SEVEN WOES
Sometimes I feel obligated to render a personal opinion when I read certain Scripture such as Matthew 23 and the seven woes.
I believe the Lord was and is talking to the religious community. I have always rendered my opinion of religion to be a sure way not to please God. I am not going to criticize any particular religion except to say we do not need any more than what we find in the Holy Bible. In the Old Testament days God used Prophets to speak to the people, now that we are in the Church Age (since the resurrection of Jesus) God speaks to us through His Holy Word. Whatever we need to know is in His Living Word. I just learned you can have Google search your question in the Bible. How easy is that?
