PETER DENIES JESUS

 

Luke 22:34: Jesus answered: “I tell you, Peter, before the rooster crows today, you will deny three times that you know me.”

 

God understands human nature as evidenced by what He told Peter and it’s obvious that he was forgiven even before his denial. There are times in our lives our faith seems to weaken for one reason or another and we shouldn’t feel guilty about it. Satan is always trying to destroy our faith in Him and weaken our testimony. We have trials and tribulation, as a matter of fact Jesus told us exactly that, but he also said to be of good cheer because He has “overcome the world.” He has given us assurances we will never be tempted beyond our ability to overcome whatever Satan throws our way.

 

Remember: ‘Greater is He that is in us, than he who is in the world.’
