SAUL! SAUL!
Acts 22:7: Jesus said: “Saul! Saul! Why do you persecute me?” On his way to Damascus he heard Jesus’ voice, fell to the ground and became temporarily blind. He was instructed to go into the city and would be told what he was to do.
A man named Ananias greeted Paul and told Paul his sight would return and it did. Then he proceeded to tell Paul he was chosen by God to be His witness to the Gentiles (verse 21). That was the beginning of an amazing change and journey of evangelism. Here we see a man whose dedication to the destruction of Gentiles probably had no equal and now he is just as adamant and passionate about delivering the Good News as he was persecuting them.
We have an awesome God don’t we? He has a plan for you; be ready and don’t hesitate. Be like the Disciples when Jesus called them; they immediately left whatever it was they were doing and followed Him without question. That is called faith. Is your faith like that; if not would you like it to be? Try it today.
